Jack - Sampler 07

Woo! Birthdaaaaaaaaaaaayy! After today I will have about £220 so I'm gonna save it towards going to new places with Lincs parkour in spring/summer.

My mum let me have the day off school today so I went out and did a short bit of training, practicing muscle-ups and reverse-muscle-ups.

A thread has started on WWJ to try and get the community to do as many press-ups as possible and reach a collective target of 1 million press-ups, however long it may take. I asked Wizey a few nights ago if he would like to join in me in participating, to which he agreed. We then did 15 press-ups every 3 minutes for half an hour, doing 150 press-ups. Jammie, Gainey, Will and Marcus also wanted to join in and the other night I did 250 press-ups, despite my aching funny bone (trapped nerve or something). I'm really glad we've started doing it because it is very motivational conditioning and I want to keep on doing it every night...

Me and Gainey trained in town for about 3 hours and got some really good training and footage. I have used most of this footage to create a sampler, which is at the top:

Lincs Parkour - January 27th

I haven't posted here for a while once again...

Training has been going brilliantly, I set up my own conditioning regime about 2 weeks ago which I am sticking to firmly, and I've started contributing to a community challenge of doing 1 million press-ups between us which is spurring me on to condition. The effects are becoming noticeable, today I got reverse muscle up's (180 underbar up into muscle-up), and my normal muscle-ups are improving greatly. Hopefully in a few months I'll be drilling out double-handed muscle-ups. I'm going to try and keep condtioning intensely as much as I can as the benefits are definitely worth it.

The winter months have been good for us, we seem to be fairly lucky with the weather, although it's constantly damp. Everyone at Lincs parkour is progressing quickly and the importance of conditioning has spread to people, so strength training is a regular thing at jams now.

I got a mini DV camera for xmas which we've been using at the jams, and we've captured some really great stuff. The video of today's training session is at the top...
